Frequently Asked Questions

Is the pool for younger children?

The kiddie pool is gigantic.  I can barely swim from one end to the other.  My dad tells me it is 28 x 75 ft.  I do not know what “ft” is, do you?  I can stand up fine in the water. The easy part of the pool comes up to my tummy (2.5 ft). On the deeper end it is 4.5 ft.  Little ones that are not quite as big as me can wear floatation vests.  Those floaty things are so cool!  If you are just a baby (children less than 3-yrs old), please ask your mom or dad to get into the pool with you.

A lifeguard is on duty to ensure the safety of everyone. Hurrah!

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes, I asked Mom to bring lasagna, pizzas, a cheese tray w/crackers, cookies, birthday cake, etc. For drinks, we will have juices, ice teas, Starbucks Frappincino, and bottled water.

What do I need to bring to the pool?

Bring a bar of soap, towels to dry off and a change of clothes.  Pasadena WaterWorks Aquatics have shower areas to rinse off after swimming.  There is also a changing area with lots of hair dryers.

What type of games will be played?

The lifeguard (people with whistles around their necks) like to play games with us.  They have all kinds.  I cannot think of any right now.  There will a lot of inflatable toys, rafts and noodles too.  I can’t wait!

Still have a question?

Well, I try my best to tell you everything I know about the pool party. If you still have questions, you have to as Mommy. She knows everything. My mom is Sumiko. You can call her on her little phone at 626.xxx.xxxx.
